General Overview
Just Dreamin' is a 25' Ranger Tug classic manufactured in 2008 by Ranger Tugs located in Kent, Washington.
She is considered a trailerable trawler as we can easily move the vessel to various locations on her companion EZ Loader trailer, and with a beam of 8' 6" the tug is legal on highway with no special permits required. Waterline length is 24' 7" with a length overall of 28' 5" and just over 32' on her trailer which tows very easily with our 2500 Silverado HD diesel truck.
On-board systems include fuel capacity of 75 gallons, freshwater 30 gallons, blackwater holding of 30 gallons and a 6 gallon hot water heater. Propulsion is a Cummins-Mercruiser QSD 2.0L 150hp diesel engine connected to a Technodrive 345 transmission with a 17"x13 bronze propeller. Navigation is through a Garmin 5212 multi functional display with GPS, sonar, radar and auto-pilot. Engine and trip information is monitored on a Smartcraft electronic display which is also linked into the Garmin 5212. With both a bow and stern thruster maneuvering in close areas is relatively easy.
Sleeping is very comfortable with a full size berth forward, a dinette which converts to a bed and a small bed in the lower mid-berth. In addition, the tug has a 16,000BTU reverse cycle heat and air conditioning system which can run from shore power or the internal 2500 watt Mase generator. For meal preparation we have a fridge with small freezer, a two burner electric stove and microwave oven. In addition, we have a full head (bathroom) with shower, sink and toilet - small but functional. For cooler days the vessel also has a internal engine heater with three speed fan control which can be used without ac voltage. The tug is also wired for cable television, if available, and has a HD external TV antenna. For entertainment she has a small TV in forward berth, one at rear of cabin, XM radio and a AM/FM with CD player.
